Know what’s scary? Wheezy lungs at midnight!

Whoa. I’m feeling COMPLETELY ZONED OUT this morning! I took my regular meds with 20 mg of Norco (as usual) and all of a sudden my head is spinning out of control. My complaints this morning? I’m STUTTERING, I can’t speak a simple sentence, my enunciation is off-the-charts weird, my tremors (a side effect of Gabapentin) have magnified tenfold and my entire body feels jittery. Oy, this is SO FUCKING WEIRD!

Sam left for Costco about ten minutes ago and asked if he could bring me anything. I told him: 1) a box of pork egg rolls; and 2) three giant cans of Redi Whip. Because shut up already … I’m a handicapped senior citizen and I want what I fucking want!

I forgot to include this handy map with yesterday’s Howdygram post. If you decide to come for a visit between September 29 and October 22 Sam will be happy to go to the Fair with y’all. A readable “embiggened” version of this map appears here for your possible interest (and so you’ll know in advance what you’re getting yourself into).

I’ve got a nice assortment of FREE FONTS for you this morning … lots of hand-lettered sans serif fonts and classy scripts, one fun display font (“Knitted”) and a terrific collection of catch-words (“Citronela”). I’ll include download links below the graphic in case you want some of these for your personal collection. FYI, the “Citronela” download actually includes 10 fonts ... but only two of them installed correctly on my Mac. You may have different success than I did.

More freebies! Today’s goodies arrived courtesy of DesignCuts.com … 1) camping icons in four different color options; and 2) monoline medical icons. All of which I’ll probably never use, but what the hell. They’re free!

It’s been a very weird day of insanity and miscellaneous bullshit around here, a statement that’s justified by all of the following: 1) Donald Trump fired Steve Bannon; and 2) read The Kvetch Report in paragraph one; and 3) wheezy lungs at midnight.

Item number three really, really freaked me out, guys. I’d been asleep on the chaise in the family room since sometime after dinner and woke up feeling like I was DROWNING. My lungs were wheezy and full of fluid, I was coughing like a maniac, and all of a sudden I remembered that night in April a few months ago when I wound up in an ambulance on the way to Baylor Hospital FOR THE EXACT SAME THING. (Although it wasn’t really exactly the same at all … last  time I’d already been sick for a couple of days and I was running 104° fever that night.)

So anyway, at midnight I got up off the chaise, Sam helped me shlep into the study, and we spent about an hour and a half together gabbing and reading our favorite news websites. After Sam went to bed around 1:45 I decided to finish up this Howdygram post and continue designing Hanukkah cards for The Howdygram Store. My life is packed with excitement, isn’t it?

The Howdygram Store is doing quite well now, in case you’re interested, and I’m racking up a lot of sales. Here are my three most popular greeting card designs:
