Introducing “Tiny Trump” ... let’s all laugh at our Asshole-in-Chief!

Know what? It’s 5:15 Saturday afternoon and Sam is unwell. We’re not exactly sure what’s wrong with him aside from a low body temperature (96.5°), tired feet and overall fatigue, so he ate a fresh grapefruit cup from Costco and decided to treat himself to a nap in the family room. As for yours truly, I’m here in the study with the Howdygram and a bowl of Manischewitz canned matzo ball soup ... and I’ve got a few of my own health issues, such as: 1) a full-blown TASTE DISORDER due to diabetic neuropathy where everything I eat tastes like fucking cardboard; 2) an INTESTINAL DISTURBANCE; and 3) very bad BURNING SKIN PAIN on the back of both thighs because I forgot to ask my resident caregiver (i.e., Sam) to apply barrier cream after my shower this morning. It’s extremely uncomfortable to sit at my desk right now and, as a result, I might have to shlep back to the chaise in the family room and watch a Myrna Loy movie. It’s always something, isn’t it?

I’ve got another herd of exciting FREE FONTS for you ... a fascinating mix of attractive scripts and hand-drawn casual whatnots. They’ll all be great for my greeting card designss for The Howdygram Store! My favorites here are “Spettekaka,” “Willow,” “Paradise” and “Minty March.” Incidentally, the last six fonts in the right-hand column are from the Brush Font Bundle (denoted by the teeny “B” in a circle), where you actually get a font that’s named for every month of the year. I’ll include download links after the graphic in case you want some of these fonts for your personal collection.

I also have a large quantity of new chalkboard clip art and watercolor backgrounds, all freebies included with fonts from the previous section. (In both cases, believe it or not, I love the free artwork a lot more than the actual fonts.)
Where the watercolor textures are concerned ... these things are wonderful for a lot more than just backgrounds because I also use them as fancy “fills” for typography! Please see the sample below if you’re interested. The font I used is “April Blossom” from the Brush Font Bundle mentioned above. (You can download it here.)

I thought you might get a kick out of our latest Howdygram feature ... check out these “Tiny Trump” photos that were doctored in Photoshop and posted online by members of a Reddit community. (The captions are mine.)

I have to get going now, because it’s 3:15 a.m. and I still have a million really important things to do. These would include injecting my bedtime insulin, eating a little cup of sugar-free Jell-O and going to the bathroom. Then it’s time for sleep!

Thank you for reading this.
