Beautiful yet speedy scarf tricks for the new year.

Happy New Year to you and yours from both of us at Howdygram headquarters. I decided not to go to bed after waking up at 2 a.m. from an outrageously long and wonderful nap in the family room. So it’s 4:50 a.m. and I’ll just hang out with you until I get cross-eyed. Thank you.

First things first, though. Here are a few more free and glorious fonts for your possible interest, all downloaded about an hour ago from BeFonts.com, the best website on earth except for Amazon. I’ll include download links after the graphic in case you want some of these fonts for yourself. Incidentally, the “Chicken Hut” font is actually Chick-fil-A’s logo font. Holy shit, right?

There’s sad news today from the world of very rich celebrities: Wayne Rogers, 82, died on New Year’s Eve after suffering complications from pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, two children, four grandchildren and a shitload of dough.
Rogers was mostly famous for the role of Trapper John McIntyre, M.D., in the classic TV series “M*A*S*H” from 1972 to 1975. At the end of the Korean War Trapper gave up medicine to launch a highly successful career as a real estate developer and money manager, and he was a regular panel member on the Fox News Channel stock investment television program “Cashin’ In.” Holy crap ... who knew?

Here’s a tutorial about beautiful yet speedy scarf tricks for the new year, something fun and entertaining for the entire family in case your other plans fall through. If I had a scarf — and occasionally wore something else besides a bathrobe — I would probably try a few of these.

Thank you for reading this.
