Today’s Internet deal? Genuine pink tape that won’t rip out your body hair.

This has been an awesome Saturday here at Howdygram headquarters, highlighted by: 1) a very pleasant lunch; 2) a very pleasant afternoon nap; 3) a really fun and satisfying crafty labeling project for the kitchen and pantry; 4) shampooing my hair on the toilet (details follow); 5) sending Sam to Costco and Wal-Mart; and 6) I can’t think of anything else.

Regarding item four, I can’t shower until July 24 due to a massive remodeling hoo-hah in the master bath (and not being able to use the step-in tub in the guest bath) so I invested in the following helpful products created for shut-ins and senior citizens. They really work, people. The shampoo doesn’t exactly make your hair fluffy and fabulous, but at least it feels clean afterwards. I can learn to live without fluffy and I stopped being fabulous 10 years ago. (The bathing wipeys are awesome, too.)

Our latest Internet Deal of the Day is provided by the eager beavers at Allegro Medical, where you can find huge discounts on suction cup grab bars, high-quality colostomy supplies for the whole family, diabetic crew socks (they’re low-carb and sugar-free!) in a variety of fashion colors, genuine pink tape that won’t rip out your body hair and those essential powder-free vinyl gloves for do-it-yourself prostate exams. On your mark, get set, SHOP!

Most of the Howdygram’s public service announcements usually involve chicken nugget recalls, where to buy E.coli burgers and general warnings about Listeria contamination. Today, however, I want to promote the following EXCITING NEW BUTT CUSHION from Sundance Solutions that will help prevent dreaded SORE SPOTS for large people with diabetes and crappy skin conditions who sit in one place for too long.
According to the product description online, “The Sun Bariatric Seat Cushion uses air displacement to relieve and equalize pressure and a low-profile design redistributes the patient’s weight over the entire surface.” Better yet, at 28" x 22" it’s UNBELIEVABLY HUGE and at $29.40 it’s also UNBELIEVABLY CHEAP. I ordered one a couple of days ago for my chair here in the study; I’ll ask my butt to write a product review as soon as I’ve had a chance to try it out. Thank you.
