Fonts and thunderstorms.

I almost didn’t want to write a Howdygram post today due to feeling like crap — I’m still battling that urinary tract infection — but here I am anyway because I just downloaded an amazing secret treasure of premium fonts that would have cost me about $350 if I’d been dumb enough to shop on MyFonts.com instead of Googling “free Hallmark fonts.”
Yes, friends, these are all proprietary Hallmark fonts, the same ones you see every day on those outrageously overpriced greeting cards at the mall. I already have about 20 Hallmark fonts that I’ve been using for the last several years; this batch is newer. I think my favorites so far are Alice Frances, Symphony and Wacky Action. (Channel is the font in Hallmark’s actual logo.) Send me an email if you want any of these, okay? They’re all in True Type format for Mac or PC.

We’ve got a BIG FAT THUNDERSTORM rolling through here right now ... and it’s REALLY LOUD with wind and horizontal rain. Since we’re still experiencing a major drought in north Texas nobody complains about Saturday thunderstorms because we need the water. And I’m pretty sure the local cattle are pretty damn happy about it, too. Can y’all hear ’em mooing? Incidentally, the red star on the following map denotes Howdygram headquarters in Mesquite.
I think I need to lie down again. Thank you for your support and say hi to the family for me.
